Bernina Embroidery can be sophisticated, pretty or just fun - sometimes all three!

Designs in the accessory shop show what some of the professionals have produced for you to use and adapt.

The embroidery modules slide easily into place on the artista and aurora for sewing patterns you have designed yourself or for ready to sew professional designs you have bought.

The embroidery module is optional for the aurora 440QE and 430 models and includes Editor Lite software. Your completed designs are downloaded simply from your pc to the module.

The artista 730E includes the embroidery module (optional on the artista 630 and 640 models).
Designs for the artistas are loaded/downloaded by use of the Bernina USB memory stick (and
additionally memory cards on the 730E).

Software - any package can be upgraded later if you wish.

EditorPlus BERNINA Embroidery Software includes powerful editing and automatic digitising features:

  • Reshape and edit existing designs; combine individual elements from multiple designs and even edit individual stitches to fine-tune the design.
  • With 55 beautiful fonts to select from, personalized embroidery projects are just a click away.
  • The Advanced Monogramming feature offers the ability to create elegant monograms, complete with shaped lettering, ornaments and multiple border options.
  • Use the Autodigitiser or Magic Wand to create embroidery objects from a graphic image with one mouse click!
  • Add texture and dimension to embroidery designs with Fancy Fills or Pattern Fills.
  • The included BERNINA Quilter Program provides tools needed to design quilt projects from a block and fabric library. Add appliqué, quilting motifs and embroidery to create a work of textile artistry.

    The included Bernina Cross Stitch Program has everything you need to create original cross stitch patterns simply and quickly.

    The included PhotoSnap option quickly lets you create embroideries from black and white or colour photos and other images.

DesignerPlus BERNINA Embroidery Software is a robust digitising program, complete with all of the features included in the EditorPlus level and much more:

  • Use the included artwork files or scan and import artwork to digitise on-screen. The easy to use manual digitising and shape tools may be used alone or in combination with the automatic digitising tools.
  • Add lettering for a personal touch to any project using one the 60 included professionally digitised fonts. Create lettering from the TrueType® fonts already installed on your computer.
  • Speciality fills; automatic colour blending and gradient fills take embroidery designs to a new level.
  • Create stunning Blackwork with fills and outlines
  • The Pattern Stamp tools adds texture and dimension to your embroidery
  • Create new pattern fills and monogram borders for more creative flexibility.
  • The exclusive Advanced Appliqué tool generates complex appliqué designs with ease. Select from traditional satin and blanket stitch appliqué or experiment with hundreds of decorative stitch options.
  • For large designs that require multiple hoopings, the hoop splitting feature are made easy. The software will create registration marks automatically to further simplify the multi-hooping process

Editor Lite - standard on the Aurora

  • Make colour changes, combine, rotate and scale designs. Editor Lite will adjust the design stitch count when scaling to maintain embroidery quality.
  • Add lettering from 5 included alphabets; place the lettering on one of several baseline options. Reshape the lettering for further creative control.
  • Use the integrated EC on PC utility program to control the stitch process when embroidering with the aurora 430 or 440 embroidery system.
